ERAS was founded in 1994 as one of the first companies to make innovative solutions for active and adaptive vibration control commercially available. ERAS stands for ‘Development and Realization of Adaptive Systems’ – and that is still our core business.

Our headquarter is located in the university city of Göttingen in the middle of Germany. It belongs to the European metropolitan region, which has 3.9 million inhabitants. With over 40 Nobel Prize winners, the city has demonstrated great dynamism and innovative strength as a science location in Measurement Valley. Being in a central location, cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg can be quickly reached by car or train.
